This is a kind and gentle practice for the older body or any body working through a physically limiting condition. In this practice we are connecting with movement and support work that allows the body to maintain healthy function. With the use of chairs, yoga blocks and even the wall as a prop, students discover the importance of hip stabilization, actively engage in balance practice and improve their posture. For students who cannot come down to the floor, adaptations with the chair are tailored to the their needs. Breathing techniques and visualizations for meditation provide an opportunity to relax and renew the mind. Enjoy community with a friendly group and a class where you will receive a high degree of attention from the teacher.
Monday, 10:00 - 11:00 am

This is currently a semi-private class being offered at significantly reduced rate. I teach this class at AquaFit of Plano's studio attachment called Fit2. The facility is located in a technology business/warehouse district of east Plano. It is accessible from the main road (Plano Parkway), but because it is tucked back you do not hear road noise. We practice in a studio attachment to AquaFit called Fit2. The practice space has large windows with sheer privacy curtains that allow natural sunlight to filter in. It's just a few doors down from the pool and you'll see the sign in the window that says Fit2.
First class is free!
You must contact me ahead of time to fill out a waiver before coming to your first free session.
The class is $15 per session; all sessions must be prepaid for the month.
